Time To Change 8/29/10 - 9/4/10
I know some of you find it hard to get into the gym, or once your here you find it hard to focus and get that workout in. There are some simple things you can do to make this process easier. I find packing my bag the night before gives me one less obstacle. Planning a really great gym mix, gives me something to enjoy while I'm working out. I also plan my post workout treat ahead of time... usually it involves an anti-oxidant rich protein smoothie. An easy way to get cardio in as well is to plan a bike ride to and from the gym. All of this planning can give you the incentive you need to make it into the gym and have a great workout; until it doesn't. If something gets in the way of your plan (left the iPod at home, rain on your bike ride), improvise and workout anyway. After all you created the plan to enhance the workout; you don't workout to create a plan.
